For many years, during the summer holidays, my wife and I would go to the mountains for our vacation. Most often it was the Tatra Mountains, but sometimes the Sudetes or the Bieszczady. This year, for various reasons — including preparing a room for Jaś — we didn’t have much time for a trip. Still, we didn’t stay home for the entire holiday; instead, we spent a few days in Toruń, a city we hadn’t visited for several years.

May trip to Kąty Rybackie
Our September trip to the Vistula Spit was so enjoyable that we decided to return there, preferably the following year. We didn’t expect that only a few months would pass before we went back — and only because our little son, Jaś, came up with the idea that he wanted to spend his third birthday on the beach. We liked the idea, so for his birthday we headed once again to Kąty Rybackie.

LiKoToN Debug Logs 1.1.0
I’ve published the LiKoToN Debug Logs plugin in the WordPress repository in a new version, numbered 1.1.0. This release has been prepared for the upcoming WordPress 7.1. I fixed several minor issues, added support for coloring log levels sent via the REST API, and introduced colored log‑level labels on the Settings page to keep them consistent with those displayed in the table.

LiKoToN Debug Logs 1.0 – my first official WordPress plugin
One day, I was looking for a solution to a problem with one of the official WordPress plugins. It turned out that the quickest way was to write a patch for that plugin using AI (MS Copilot), which I did. That process inspired me to create my first own plugin—one that I actually needed—but this led to bigger issues that required debugging. I didn’t feel like enabling WordPress logging on the server, so the idea of a debugging plugin was born. This is how my first WordPress plugin came to life, and you can download it from the official repository – LiKoToN Debug Logs 1.0.0.

Low Emission Zones in Poland
In various Polish cities, Low Emission Zones (Strefa Czystego Transportu – SCT) are slowly beginning to appear. Their purpose is to restrict access for older vehicles that do not meet the required emissions standards. Supposedly, the idea is to improve our quality of life and health by reducing air pollution. In reality, it’s not quite that simple – but that’s a topic for another time. In this post, I describe the Low Emission Zones that already operate in Poland or will be launched soon.
