A new version of the LiKoToN AutoMapa Geocoder application has been released at apps.likoton.pl/lamg. The application uses the AutoMapa API to provide address geocoding and reverse geocoding. The new release is version 1.3.0 and, in addition to several minor improvements, introduces changes related to previewing results on a map.
In version 1.3.0 of LiKoToN AutoMapa Geocoder, I added the ability to preview geocoding and reverse geocoding results on an OpenStreetMap map. The option to view locations on a Targeo map remains available as well.
However, the preview works differently for Targeo and OpenStreetMap. Since the AutoMapa Targeo terms of service do not allow the Targeo map to be displayed within a third-party application window, geocoding and reverse geocoding results are opened in a new browser tab on the Targeo map. OpenStreetMap does not impose such a restriction, so results can be displayed directly within the application window.
